Birth Doula Services Fee

 The fee for birth doula services ranges from $900-$1,100 and is arranged as follows:


-50% retainer fee once I am selected as your doula. To provide quality care, I only commit to three mothers per month and this retainer allows me to secure my 24/7 on-call availability before your due date.  

-Remaining balance due by the 37th week of your pregnancy.

Services Provided

  • Initial introductory meeting at an agreed upon location to get to know one another which is free of charge.
  • Two prenatal visits - Our first meeting will focus on discussing the desires for your birth. Our second visit will review any goals that you have set and address any fears/concerns that may be present. We can also practice comfort techniques.
  • Assistance creating an Individualized Birth Plan.
  • Continued communication during pregnancy via text, phone, or email to answer questions. (Response time within 24 hours unless I am attending another birth. I will be sure to notify you via text if I am with a laboring mother.)
  • Professional referrals and resources provided as needed. 
  • 24/7 On Call availability starting two weeks prior to your estimated due date.
  • Uninterrupted support in your home, birth center, or hospital throughout labor and delivery.
  • Ongoing assistance for one to two hours after birth, including breastfeeding support.
  • Follow-up with one postpartum visit in your home.

-There are options such as myregistry.com and babylist.com that make it easy to add doula services to your baby shower registry

-Payment plans and sliding scale fees may be available for low-income families

-Discount for first responders and military families

Postpartum Doula Services Fee

Postpartum doula services are available in three ways:


(1) Care can be provided at an hourly rate of $35. Shifts are completed at a minimum of four hours per visit and payment is due at the end of each day.


(2) Many families benefit from an initial services package for $500 that can be scheduled in one of the following manners:


  • 2 Overnight Shifts
  • 14.5 Daytime Hours 
  • 1 Overnight + 7.5 Daytime Hours


(3) Overnight postpartum support is provided at a flat fee of $250

Services Provided

  • Emotional support and guidance
  • Breastfeeding/bottle feeding support
  • Newborn care support including diapering, first bath, sleep solutions, baby-wearing
  • Food preparation and light meals
  • Grocery shopping 
  • Light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, etc)
  • Accompaniment to appointments, support groups, etc.
  • Referrals as needed
  • Overnight care

Breastfeeding Support Fee

Prenatal education

Your private breastfeeding education session is two hours in length. The cost is:

  • $95 when purchased individually
  • $75 in conjunction with any doula services

postpartum breastfeeding support

This individualized support session  where I will observe a feeding and answer any questions you may have is arranged as follows: 

  • $40 per hour for new clients 
  • $30 per hour for families with doula services

-All breastfeeding support services include one week of phone/email support to answer any follow-up questions you may have.
